RHONA

RHONA was born from the merger of two engineering firms with origins dating back to 1943: Neuweiler y Reitz Ltda. and Aspillaga y Hornauer y Cia. Ltda. In 1964, they joined forces to create what would become the largest transformer manufacturing company in Chile.

Through continuous improvements in production processes, combined with decades of accumulated expertise and close collaboration with national and international technology institutions, RHONA has established itself as a key player in the manufacturing of electrical equipment—particularly power transformers and substation components.

In addition to its industrial development, RHONA has expanded its operations to include the commercialization of electrical materials and products. It holds exclusive representations of high-quality brands such as MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC and COVISA electrical conductors, among others. Its portfolio is constantly evolving to include the latest innovations in power distribution, control systems, automation, and lighting.

Today, guided by the values instilled by its founders, RHONA is powered by a dedicated team of skilled professionals and workers who strive for excellence and continuous improvement to deliver top-quality service to its clients.

With commercial offices and warehouses in Antofagasta, Concepción, Santiago (2), Viña del Mar, Puerto Montt and Temuco (Chile), and Lima (Peru), RHONA is supported by a solid, modern infrastructure ready to meet the demands of the industrial and energy markets every day.
